LOOSE PARTS continues our series of Puppetry for the Very Young (ages 6 and under). This 30-minute show will introduce kids to safe, everyday materials, invite them to help build a world, and then stay, play and explore. As we explore, we’ll encounter friends, puzzles, unexpected causes-and-effects, music, snacks and silliness.
This is a participatory theater experience, where kids won’t have to stay in their seats, but will instead be invited to take part in the action.
LOOSE PARTS is created by Zach Bramel, with help from Julia Krebs Patterson, Talleri Adkins McRae and Squallis Puppeteers.
Our Puppetry for the Very Young series is designed specifically for younger audience members. The series also serves as an introduction to theatrical experiences. We're all learing how to navigate this world!
Please come check out a brand new show by Squallis Puppeteers based, on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes." In this version, funny animal rod puppets in fancy knickers and ruffles, bearing a striking resemblance to certain political figures of today, encourage the audience to think about power, class, money, and farm animal fashions. Come laugh at this funny political satire for children and adults.
Best for ages 5 and up.
