Squallis Puppeteers offers touring puppet shows for all ages.
Squallis Puppeteers offers workshops that are suitable for all ages. Great for in-school and in-classroom activities, and to deepen that experience of seeing a show and meeting a real life puppeteer.
For a longer, more comprehensive experience, consider a multi-day residency where students can work on multiple characters, larger puppets, or complete puppet performances.
Please note: we do not do birthday parties.

Who do you admire? Who inspires you during these troubling times? We are looking for those heroes who don’t wear capes: real people who have made a difference and can help guide us.
YOU are invited to participate to the Puppet Hero Parade Project. Starting April 10, 2018, Squallis will be hosting big puppet making workshops at our studio in PORTLAND. We are going to make five big puppets of heroes selected by YOU!
If you or someone you know (ages 8 & up) wants to learn how to make puppets, fill out the application at the bottom of this page.
These workshops are FREE, thanks to an Imagine Greater Louisville 2020 grant, which was made possible by the Louisville Metro Government in partnership with the Fund for the Arts.
The PUPPET HERO PARADE will debut as part of the Portland Festival Parade on June 2, 2018. This new group of puppets will also perform at the Portland Art and Heritage Fair in the Fall of 2018.
Squallis would never have survived for almost 20 years if not for the support of our family, friends, patrons, and our community.
If you want to be part of Squallis you can be, no matter what age.
